Obituary for Carolyn M. Howell
Carolyn M. Howell, age 86, of Ball, LA entered eternal rest on Monday, May 8, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack R. Howell; her parents, Fannie Robertson McCormick and William T. McCormick; also by two brothers, Larry T. McCormick and Wyatt McCormick, one sister, Nellie B. Smith.
She is survived by two daughters, Janet Howell of Ball and Sylvia Howell Balboni of Libby, Mt.; two grandsons, Jeffrey Balboni of Brattleboro, Vt. and Christopher Balboni of Troy, Mt.
Mrs. Howell was born in Tioga, La. November 21, 1929, graduated from Tioga High School in 1947 and was also a graduate of Louisiana College. She taught at Paradise and Ball Elementary schools for 25 years.
A memorial service will be held at Pineville Presbyterian Church, Saturday, May 14, 2016 with visitation at 9:00 a.m. and services at 10:30 a.m.
Mrs. Howell will be buried at Kitchen Creek Cemetery, Ball, Louisiana under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Memorials may be made to Pineville Presbyterian Church, 2522 Military Hwy. Pineville, La. 71360 or to Bethany Christian Services, 901 Eastern Ave., P.O. Box 294 Grand Rapides, MI 495011-0294
