Funeral services for Mr. Ian Scott Jobe will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Rev. Robert Vincent officiating. Private family interment will be handled, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Jobe, age 20, of Alexandria, entered eternal rest on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana.

He was a student. He was an actor and musician; writing an original screenplay and music. He did Improv Comedy. He was a very talented artist. He loved to entertain everyone and bring them joy.

He is survived by his parents, Dr. Brian C. Jobe and wife Ann of Alexandria; maternal grandparents, Ivy Ray and Willie Mae Scott of Iota, La.; paternal grandparents, Clifford, Sr. and Frieda Jobe of Mowata, La.; three brothers, Caleb Jobe, Luke Hopkins Jobe and Eli Jobe of Alexandria, Louisiana.

Friends may call at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with a Chapel service at 2:00 p.m.

Honorary pallbearers will be Caleb Reed Jobe, Luke Jobe, Eli Jobe, Wesley Boone, Justus Boone, Garrett Boone, Jordan Giles, Robbie Rich and Christopher Norman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Manna House, Social Services Organization, 2655 Lee St., Alexandria, Louisiana 71301.

Ian, you are the joy of our hearts. We look forward to being with you again with joy.
