Father God, please shower comfort on each person and family represented here. If any of them don't know you I pray that you would put someone in their path that can lead them to you. I thank you for the time we all had with Eric. I pray that we will all be strengthened by your love and that you will help us to be a comfort to others as they walk the painful, unimaginable path of losing such a precious soul ..... I thank you for giving your Son as a sacrifice for us so that we may be with you in Heaven and have the hope and comfort of knowing that through your Son we may see our loved ones in Heaven one day. I ask this in Jesus name. Amen

Condolence: No words can began to express the sorrow and pain that everyone is going through right now. Let the many memories of Eric live on and replace the deep pain we are all feeling right now. No family should have to go through this but remember we are all here for you and am offering this prayer to everyone in his family and all the friends that he made while on this journey on earth.
Dear Lord, I pray for the Eric Gorden family who have lost their son. I ask that you would fill them with a deep sense of your peace and grace. I ask that you would surround them with your love and hope. Give them the strength to carry on and to know that they still have a purpose on this earth. Lord I am asking that each day they would grow stronger in the knowledge of you and how great you truly are.
Lord, on their darkest days be their light. On their loneliest days, be their friend. On their saddest days be their joy. Grant Sandy, Bri and the rest of Eric's family to be strengthened with power to continue on. I pray that they would be firmly established in the knowledge of you. I pray that they may be able to comprehend what is the breadth, width, height and depth of your love for them. Let that unfathomable love carry them through their darkest days.
Lord, I pray that Eric's family would be filled with pleasant and joyful memories of Eric. May each day bring a brighter hope of the future. May they grow closer to you through this experience.
