Funeral services for Mr. Eric Scott Gorden will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2014 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Fr. Rick Gremillion officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mr. Gorden, age 18, of Ball, entered eternal rest on December 14, 2014 in Ball, Louisiana.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Gage LaVallie; paternal grandfather, Marvin Gorden; maternal great grandfather, Bill Covington; maternal great grandparents, Edward and Mary Hennegan.
He is survived by his father, Jeremy T. Gorden and step-mother, Summer; mother, Sandy B. LaVallie; sister, Briahnna Gorden; step-sisters, Alisa, Kelley, Jaida Marshall; step-brother, Tyler Marshall; maternal grandparents, Rick and Pattie Marshall, Freddy LaVallie, Jr. (Katherine); paternal great grandfather, Marvin Gorden, Sr. paternal grandmother, Melissa King; paternal great grandmother, Shirley Covington; maternal great grandparents, Fred LaVallie (Shirley); maternal great grandmother, Ruby Johnson; maternal great great grandmother, Velma Johnson; survived by many aunts, uncles, family and friends.
Friends may call at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
