Richard James Armstrong Jr.
Mr. Richard J. Armstrong, Jr., age 88, of Pollock, entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at the V. A. Medical Center in Pineville, Louisiana.
Mr. Armstong was a U.S. Navy veteran retiring in 1985 after twenty-seven years of service. He loved his God, his country and his family.

Those left to cherish his memory are two sons, R. Duran Armstrong (Cassandra) of Pollock, La . and M. Duane Armstrong (Mona) of Huntsville, Alabama. One daughter, Darise Ralston (Dr. James) of Pineville, La.; a sister, Eleanor Gurganous of Rocky Point, North Carolina and a host of nieces and nephews.
