Funeral services for Mrs. Marilyn B. Lloyd will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 1, 2016 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Reverend Jimmy Koonce and Madeline Coby officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Mrs. Lloyd, age 73, of Pineville, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria, Louisiana.

Mrs. Lloyd retired from the Rapides Parish School Board after 25 years of service and worked 5 years prior in the Dallas Texas School System. Marilyn was a member of the Homewood Baptist Church in Alexandria and also served as the church secretary, she enjoyed reading and was an animal lover.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Juanita Bonnette. Marilyn is survived by her husband of 24 years, Steve Lloyd of Pineville; her two baby Pugs, Wally and Bubba; one brother, Louis Clifford Bonnette, Jr (Willene) of Lake Charles; two nephews, Michael Bonnette (Robin) of Baton Rouge, Matthew Bonnette (Colene) of Lake Charles; one niece, Anne Bonnette of Lake Charles; five great nieces and nephews, Haley, Katelyn, Peyton, Grant and Max Bonnette; and numerous extended family members

Friends may call at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana on Monday, August 1, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
