My mom was a free-spirited and kind-hearted person. While she made poor decisions in her life (who hasn’t?) which caused complicated relationships with her loved ones. At the end of the day, she was one of the only people who truly understood me and listened when I needed her to. I’m heartbroken that this horrible disease took away what could have been happier times but I’m thankful for the good ones we did have and I will cherish all the wonderful memories we shared together. I love you mom. I hope you’re at peace with the Lord so that we can laugh again together someday.
