Life Story for Hazel Kathleen Phillips (Singer)
Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Singer Phillips will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 20, 2016 in Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana . Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mrs. Phillips, age 89, of Alexandria, Louisiana, entered eternal rest peacefully on Monday, May 16, 2016 in Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana.
Mrs. Hazel was a longtime resident of Alexandria. She enjoyed traveling and shopping and she loved her grandchildren dearly. Hazel enjoyed being a wonderful homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her husband, A.R. Phillips; two sons, Wiley Leggett and Ronald Leggett.
She is survived by two sons, Allan Phillips (Sue) of Sulphur and Jimmy Phillips of Vinton; one daughter, Wyvonne Graham (Danny) of Trinidad, Colorado; grandchildren, Conor O’Connell, August Cole O’Connell, Allan Phillips, Jr., David Phillips, Jennifer Phillips, Shawn Leggett, Kim Leggett and Karen Leggett; four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
