Life Story for Elaine Manuel
Funeral services for Mrs. Elaine Rushing Manuel will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Bentley, Louisiana with Reverend Ken Campbell officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Bentley, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mrs. Manuel, age 57, of Bentley, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at her residence.
Elaine was self-employed in restaurants / Bar & Grill in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Joe Ann Lewis was not only her sister, but her caretaker as well.
Mrs. Manuel is preceded in death by her parents, Travis and Rose Rushing.
She is survived by two sons, Jason Rushing of Alexandria and Marshall Manuel of Austin, Texas ; one brother, Charles Rushing of Shreveport; four sisters, Joe Ann Lewis of Bentley, Marilyn Rushing of Lake Charles, Sandra Rushing of Shreveport and Melinda Demmon of Elm Grove; one granddaughter, Emma Casanovas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to give a “Special Thank You” to Journey Hospice for their loving care and concern.
Friends may call at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Bentley, Louisiana on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
