Funeral services for Mrs. Doris C. Barrett will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2014 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Rev. Bob Galloway officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Mrs. Barrett, age 87, of Alexandria, entered eternal rest on Monday, December 1, 2014 at her residence.

Mrs. Barrett was a military wife. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. She enjoyed bowling and was a past Secretary/Treasurer for many bowling leagues.

She is preceded in death by her son, Robert Barrett.

She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Mr. Harley Barrett of Alexandria; one daughter, Dianna Trent (Gary) of Chicago, Illinois; two brothers, Raymond Cunningham of Olathe, KS and Charles Cunningham of Lane, KS; three sisters, Laura Becker of Wichita, KS, Viola Ralston of Parker, KS and Mary Dammon of Clifton, KS; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until time of services.
