Life Story for Donald Eugene Williams
Funeral services for Mr. Donald E. Williams will be held at 10:00 a.m. on
Tuesday, July 19, 2016 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with the Reverends Sammy Morrow, Wayne Chance and Kevin Simmons officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Pollock, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mr. Williams, age 82, of Ball, Louisiana, and entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at his residence.
Donald was in the USAF during the Korean Conflict. He was a graduate of Junction City High School, Kansas. He was employed at Firestone in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Donald was a x-ray technician and co-owner of Louisiana Mobile Medical where he retired in 2015. He was member and a deacon at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Pollock, Louisiana. He was a 3rd degree Mason, Past Master of Anchor Lodge.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gail Williams and Thelma Smith; sister and brother-in-law, Ralph and Thelma Purdie and in-laws, Alex and Ruthie Hilton.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Hazel Locothia Hilton Williams; one son, Paul Williams (Stacy); one daughter, Paula Williams Lanier (Mark); six grandchildren, Brittany, Jacob, Madison, Cameron, John Marks and Cole.
Pallbearers, Jacob Lanier, Michael Laurence, Nathan Laurence, Keith Laurence, Len Durr, James Johnson, Monroe Thompson and Wayne Maxwell; honorary pallbearers will be John Mark Lanier, Cameron Williams and Cole Williams.
Friends may call at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 from 9:00 until time of service.
