Funeral services for Mr. Dana W. Bass will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 13, 2016 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Jenae Lee Bass Wigley officiating. Interment will be in Pollock Cemetery, Pollock, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Bass, age 30, of Pollock, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Monday, May 9, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. Bass was a member of the Theta Xi Fraternity. He also worked for a Pesticide company in Lafayette and Alexandria, Louisiana.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilbur Johnson, EW and Lucy Hammons, Henry Bass and Mrytle Lee Rickman; cousin, Mandy Crane.

He is survived by his mother, Sandra Hammons, step-father, Ernie Wayne Hammons; sister, Jenae Bass Wigley; nephew, Jayden James Wigley; nieces, Jayla Jenae Wigley and Jaylynn Jade Wigley; grandmother, Jeanette Willett Johnson; aunts, Linda Crane, Cheryl Harr; cousins, Kyle (Kathleen) Crane, Hunter Crane, Brady Crane, Jamie Crane (Kristen) and their daughter, Carine, Chris Harr (Emily) their daughter Abigail and son, Dawton.

He is also survived by his father, Danny Wayne Bass (Lisa); half-sister (Ashli Bass Dunlap (Mark); nephews, Riley and Christopher; niece, Reece and half-sister, Shannon Bass Guillory (Shane); niece, Katelyn; great niece Jaycee; niece and nephew, Della and Kyle; stepbrother, Matt Hammons; nephews, Brayden & Camden; aunt, Lou Hammons Craig (Dr. Bruce); cousin, Bill Davis and his children, Zaylynn and Connor; uncle, Larry Bass and children (both deceased Bruce and Jill), Uncle Bruce (Jill) Hammons; cousins Aaron (Sheila) their children Toshan, Sajan, cousin, Alicia (Jason) and child Elliot; uncle John (Sue) Hammons; cousins, Lisa and Mary; Always, “The Best Uncle D Ever”
