Condolence From: Renee Nugent
Condolence: I wish I would have known Mr. Bruce but I can say that his life speaks through the fruit he has born and through those around him that were so saddened by his loss. Rickey has struggled with the loss of his uncle and I know he loved him and cherished his singing and the memories they made as Rickey was growing up. Sorry for your loss and I am praying for God's grace and peace for the family.

Condolence: I will always remember Bruce, my sweet cousin, as a funny guy who kept us laughing many times as kids growing up down here at Little River .....we were all called river rats, but that was ok with us....Swimming at Mayhaw Holler, playing baseball at Lower field, football in our yards, climbing trees, riding tin sleds down hills of pine straw, playing hide n seek, riding bicycles, walking the piney woods, playing in the creeks, swinging on the vines, raiding all our kinfolks gardens, eating at family cookouts, church picnics....and you and Rusty playing the guitar and banjo, Diane on the piano.....you name it....we most probably done it....lol.....such a joy to remember all the good ole days, but oh so sad to see you go.....we are right behind you....tell the others already in Heaven hello for us.....

Condolence: I always enjoyed being at a festival where Southland was. Bruce was fun to mess with and very smooth on his guitar every time. He will be missed by many left behind, but is enjoying the presence of the LORD first hand. The LORD giveth and the LORD taketh away; Blessed be the name of the LORD!
