Memorial services for Mr. Bradley Kyle Rushing will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2016 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Elder Wayne Painter officiating, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Brad, age 49, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 30, 2016 in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Brad was born May 1, 1967 and passed from this life into the arms of his Lord and Savior on July 30, 2016. He was a graduate of Tioga High School, Class of 1985, where he participated in Tioga High School football and weight lifting programs. He attended LSU-A while working in the family business, Economy Boots, eventually becoming part of the management team for nearly 30 years. Brad was also co-owner of Cenla Pressure Washing and various rental properties. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. Brad’s greatest joy was spending time with his daughters, siblings, extended family and friends. He also received great joy from his membership at Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.

He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Herman J. Rushing, Sr. and Lessie Smith Rushing; maternal grandfather, Daniel H. Sloan, Sr.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Avery Nichole (Scott) and their daughter Emma Claire of Bunkie, Lessie Rushing and Sally Rushing of Dry Prong, step-daughter, Holly Rodney (Thomas) and their son Colt of Pineville; parents Jerry and Barbara (Bobbi) Rushing of Tioga; maternal grandmother, Jane Sloan of Ball; siblings, Alisa LeDoux (Bill) and Zachary of Pineville, Alaina Nunnally (Clint) and Isabel, Catherine, Frank and Violet of Alexandria, Amanda Rushing of Pineville, Jerry Rushing, Jr. and Joseph, Hannah and son Madden, Rachel and Chloe of Pineville, Austen Rushing of Alexandria; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family from Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas.

Friends may call at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
