Funeral services for Ms. Sally Gertrude Ryder will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Reverend James White officiating. Interment will be in Paul Cemetery, Deville, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Ms. Ryder, age 66, of Deville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria, Louisiana.

Ms. Ryder retired from Huey P. Long after 31 years of service in the Accounting department. She loved her family deeply and her nieces and nephews were a very important part of her life. She enjoyed fishing, working in her garden and loved shopping more than anything.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joe James Ryder; one niece, Ramonda Ebey White.

She is survived by her mother, Billie Ryder; siblings, Billie Ebey (Earnest) of Deville, Pauline Cole (Harvey) of Deville, Ethel Patterson of Deville and Elmus Ryder (Pam) of Deville; nieces, Sonya Lafleur (Chad) of Deville, Angie Cole of Deville, Kayla White (Poston) of Deville and Amanda Ebey (Jay) of Deville; nephew, Luke Ryder of Deville; great nieces and nephews, Timothy Ebey, Dylan Barker, Hope White, Chloe Barker, Brydan Johnson, Gabe Ebey, Skyler Ebey.


Friends may visit on Friday, June 2, 2017 at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
