Obituary for Terry Pullig

Graveside services for Terry O. Pullig will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, Louisiana with Dr. Philip Robertson and the U.S. Navy Honor Guard, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Pullig, age 83, of Ball, Louisiana was born on January 5, 1934 in Campti, Louisiana and passed from this life on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at his home with his daughter and long-time companion, Liz LeFleur by his side.

During his Naval career he proudly served in the Korean and Vietnam wars and retired after 20 years of service to his country.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Annice Pullig; parents, Joe E. and Vesta Pullig; brothers, Vernon Pullig, Hershal Pullig; sisters, Lavon and Alice Faye Pullig.

He is survived by his son, Tim Pullig (Teresa) of Pineville; daughters, Tammy Bordelon (Lynn) of Plaucheville and Sandi Hudson (Kevin) of Deville; six grandchildren, Chris Pullig, Cody Pullig, Amanda Harrell, Kelly Basco (Derek), Jacob Hudson and Adam Hudson; seven great-grandchildren Ashton Pullig, Brice Riggs, Levi Trantham, Abby Trantham, Gracie Trantham, Colton Basco and Chloe Basco.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the charities he supported faithfully, The Manna House, The Salvation Army and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
