Obituary for Patricia Ann Simmons (Green)
Memorial services for Mrs. Patricia A. Simmons will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at The First Baptist Church of Dry Prong, 920 Highway 167, Dry Prong, Louisiana with Reverend Loyd Whitman officiating.
Ms. Patricia Ann Simmons, age 77, of Dry Prong, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family
Patricia worked for the Clerk of Court in Grant Parish for over 21 years. She loved crossword puzzles, cooking and feeding everyone, and she always made you feel comfortable and at home. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved spending time and having fun with all of her grandchildren. Patricia loved watching Steve Harvey and especially loved anything Mark Harmon played in. She loved cooking Sunday dinner and watching Saints football with her family and friends. Patricia loved her family and she never knew a stranger.
She is survived by one son, Michael Simmons of Texas; three daughters, Melanie Lavespere (Skip) of Colfax, Stephanie Tucker (Randal) of Natchitoches and Jamie Carmouche (David) of Dry Prong; grandchildren, Quinn Lavespere, Averi Leger, Sydney Leger, Kenna Leger, Brody Paul, Blakely Paul, Sophie Carmouche and Josie Carmouche.
