John Lee "Bank Man"  Banks
Funeral services for Mr. John Lee Banks will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 28, 2017 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Reverend Kenny Moore officiating, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Banks, age 75, of Deville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 26, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Banks worked in the banking industry for over 20 years. He was known as “Bank Man” to many of his friends. He was an avid outdoorsman, he loved duck hunting and fishing. John also loved gardening and playing cards on Sundays.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Oneeter S. Banks; one son, Travis Banks; one brother, Carl W. Banks; three half-brothers, Clarence Banks, Gerald Banks and Robert J. Banks; one sister, Doris M. Miller.

He is survived by his daughter, Charlotte L. Poston (John) of Pineville; sisters, Myra Banks of Pollock and Ruth Banks of Collinsville, IL; brother, Larry W. Banks (Yvonne) of Oakdale; two grandsons, Nathaniel Poston (Stephanie) of New Iberia and Zachary Poston (Lauren) of Pineville; great-grandchildren, Jade, Carson, Mason, Isabella and Nicholas Poston.

Friends may visit on Monday, August 28, 2017 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 4:00 p.m. until time of service.
