Robert Joseph "Bob"  Boudreau
Funeral services for Mr. Robert “Bob” Boudreau will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Pineville, Louisiana with Reverend Dale Meade officiating. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening at Gallagher Funeral Home. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Pineville, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home of Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Boudreau, age 89, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Tioga Manor Nursing Home, Pineville, Louisiana.

Mr. Boudreau retired as Captain of the Pineville Police Department and Executive Director of the Rapides Parish Housing Authority after many years of service. He was a member of the Rapides Golf and Country Club. He loved spending time with his family and friends, his family was his world. His favorite pastime was riding his John Deer lawnmower and eating ice cream.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Permelia Leger Boudreau; one son, Robert J. Boudreau, Jr.; three brothers, Albert, Lionel and Albin Boudreau; one sister, Margaret Boudreau.

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Gladys Boudreau of Pineville; two daughters, Roberta Upton (Bob) of Pineville and Karen Vandersypen (Charlie) of Alexandria; one sister, Theresa Cybliski of San Francisco, CA; eight grandchildren, Vicki Arnold (Dwane), Dawn Upton (Chris), Debbie Carr (Jason), Stacie Dauzat (Chad), Chas Vandersypen, Amy Cole (Daniel), Renee Boudreau (Todd), Robbie Boudreau (Leigh); six great grandchildren, Shelby Martin (Chad), Taylor Jernigan, Justin Jernigan, Chloe Dauzat, Kaitlin Cole and Austin Boudreau; one great-great granddaughter, Bailey Grace Martin.

Friends may visit on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 8:00 a. m. until 1:45 p.m. before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Pineville, Louisiana.

The family would like to thank the staff of Tioga Manor Nursing Home, especially Mary Ann Walker, Dr. Mark Schneider and All Saints Hospice for the special love and care that was given to our father.
