Funeral services for Mrs. Amber A. Dickson will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 18, 2016 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Reverend Larry Pasley officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Mrs. Dickson, age 38, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana.

Amber loved her family. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She loved reading, research and writing down her thoughts. Amber always loved to cook and was known for feeding the multitudes. Being a Christian all of her life, Amber truly loved God and her Country. She was a joyful spark and had a more tender heart than most people have met.

She is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Scott Dickson of Pineville; father, Pete Thomas of Cheneyville; mother, Alisa Goudeau (George) of Pineville; grandmother, Anita Goudeau of Carencro, Louisiana; one son, Landon Dickson of Pineville; one daughter, Madelyne Dickson of Pineville; one brother, Seth Thomas (Alicia) of Deville; three aunts, Stacy Goudeau of Alexandria, Jane Turner of Alexandria and JoAnn Goudeau of Pineville; one uncle, Jimmy Thomas (Melva) of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; one nephew, Alex Thomas of Pineville; one niece, Maci Thomas of Pineville; also survived by many great uncles, aunts, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Michael Dickson, Josh Dickson, Donald Thomas, Cody Thomas, Henry Corley and Markus Lueder.

Friends may call at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana on Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday, January 18, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Witherspoon and all the staff at Rapides Regional ER Staff.
