Odessa Theological Seminary, Ukraine

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith” 2 Tim 4:7 Dear family and friends of Dr Nick, On behalf of Odessa Theological Seminary family please accept our deepest sympathy in the loss of your father and friend. We live in another part of the world, yet it is a big loss for us, too. Dr Nick was the person who took active part in founding our seminary. Apart from being a great professor, he had a nature that inspired respect and affection in everyone who would come across him. People who knew him personally would fall in love with him. Although he experienced many hardships in his life, he always was a very warm and easy person. Dr Nick is an example for us of a faithful and devoted Christian who lived his believes. Looking at Dr Nick’s life we see that he became who God had called him to be, he fulfilled his mission and his life matched God’s vision about him. Now it is time of sorrow for people who loved him. Yet we also rejoice at the powerful life of Dr Nick. We are honored that God gave us chance to get to know him. Let us seek comfort in hope that one day the Lord whom we believe and whom Dr Nick served would gather us together in better place. May the Lord send His peace in your hearts and comfort you as He alone can do it. On behalf of seminary students, faculty and staff, Volodymyr Shemchyshyn, Vice-President of OTS, Head of the Board of Trustees of OTS Vladimir Pomazkov, President of OTS
