Memorial services for Mr. Robert J. Cooper, Sr. will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Christian Worship Center, Alexandria, Louisiana, with Pastor’s Aaron and Erin Hankins officiating, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Cooper, age 66, of Pollock, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana.

Robert was a Manager for Piccadilly Cafeteria for 20 years. He was a very caring, compassionate and loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He will be missed by many friends and family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Mrs. Gail Cooper of Pollock; four sons, Robert “Robby” J. Cooper, Jr. of Lafayette, Kevin W. Cooper (Amy) of Lafayette, Christopher Hebert of San Diego, California and David Logan Hebert of Boyce; one daughter, Kimberly Jones Simon of Lafayette; two brothers, Tom Cooper (Laura) of Arizona and Richard Cooper of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one sister, Kathy Wesolowski (David) of Albuquerque, New Mexico; three grandchildren, Audrey Cooper, Dakota Simon and Ashton Vilcan.

Friends may call at Christian Worship Center, (6101 Masonic Dr., Alexandria, Louisiana 71301) on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
