Obituary for Marguerite G. "Flapper" Northup (Alford)
Funeral services for Mrs. Marguerite "Flapper" Alford Northup will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 25, 2017 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Reverend James Greer officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.
Mrs. Northup, age 74, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Northup worked at Super 10 Dollar Store for 21 years. She was a member of Donahue Ferry & Journey Church for over 60 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents George and Marguerite Alford; one son, William Daniel Northup.
She is survived her loving husband of 55 years, Bill Northup; daughter, Deanna Delacerda (Leo); son, Anthony Northup; daughter-in-law, Tina Northup; three sisters; two brothers; grandchildren, Rachael Hammond, Kasey Foster, Adrian Foster, Brianna Dean, Matthew Northup, Jonathan Northup, Matthew Dean, Aaron Dean, Kaitlyn Delacerda; great-grandchildren, Krysalynn, Brylee, Kaysleigh, Brinlee, Kaynen; three adopted great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
Pallbearers will be Greg Alford, Butch Migues, Leo Delacerda, Jody Worsham, Joshua Smith, Clayton Alford, Doug Alford, Owen Malone and Josh White.
