Funeral services for Mary “Ruby” Burrow will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2017 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Reverend Sammy Morrow officiating. Interment will be in the Alexandria National Cemetery, Pineville, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home of Ball, Louisiana.

Mrs. Burrow, age 91, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Burrow loved her kids and grandchildren. She was a constant prayer warrior for her family. She retired from Central State Hospital after 33 years of service. She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Church, Alexandria, Louisiana.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John A. Burrow, Sr.; one son, John A. Burrows, Jr.; two daughters, Wanda Pham and Joan Rae.

Ruby is survived by her daughter, Missie Walker (Freddy) of Dry Prong; daughter-in-law, Patty Burrows of Pineville; one brother, Paul Guillory (Jenny) of Centerpoint; ten grandchildren; thirty one great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren.

Friends may visit on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Nathan Robinson, Jacob Walker, Billy Townley, Freddy Walker, Bryan Edwards and Austin Edwards
