Funeral services for Mr. John “J.B.” Burrows, Jr. will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel, Ball, Louisiana with Rev. Sammy Morrow officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Elmer, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.

Mr. Burrows, age 64, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. “J.B.” was preceded in death by his father, John A. Burrow, Sr.; two sisters, Wanda Pham and Joan Ray and a son in law, Kenneth Turnage, Jr.

J.B. is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patty Carter Burrows; his mother, Ruby G. Burrow; 2 sons, Alan Bond (Juliette) and John A. Burrows III (Kayla); 3 daughters; Kandy Townley (Billy), Missie Walker (Freddy), Beth Barton (Donald) and two daughter’s by “Heart”, Mary Edwards (Michael) and Ebony Flournoy; brother, Mike Juneau (Jane); 21 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren and his special babies, Jake and Sassy. In addition to family, ‘J.B.” loved hunting, fishing and Bar-b-queing. He will be missed by many.

Pall bearers honored to serve are, Billy Townley, Donald Barton, Sr, Freddy Walker, Alan Bond, Michael Edwards, Robert Townley and Jobe Prudhomme. Honorary Pall bearers, Mike Juneau, Nathan Robinson, Jacob Walker, Lil Billy Townley, Dustin Townley, Brian, Cory and Austin Edwards.

Friends may visit at Gallagher Funeral Home on Monday, February 6, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until time of service on Tuesday.
