LTC. (Ret.) Bobbie Marlene  Black (Keaton)
Memorial services for Mrs. Bobbie K. Black will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 6, 2017 with full military honors, in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home of Ball, Louisiana.

Mrs. Black, age 64, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Ochsner Medical Center, New Orleans, Louisiana, surrounded by her loving family.

LTC. (Ret.) Bobbie Black served her country in the United States Army National Guard for over 28 years. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother and she will be missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jo Smith; father, Barna Glenn Stennett; father-in-law, William H. Black; sister, Peggy Holly; grandson, Johnathan Chase Sibley Gray.

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years and her soulmate for life, William Black; daughter, Kimberly Kent (John) of Zachary; brother, Glenn Dale Stennett (Pattie) of New Orleans; sister, Janet Black of Pineville; mother-in-law, Barbara E. Black of Tioga; two grandchildren, Christian William Bremermann and Gabrielle Elizabeth Bremermann; also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Friends may visit on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
