Obituary for Marjorie Elizabeth Leggett (Dunn)
Funeral services for Mrs. Marjorie E. Leggett will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana. Services will be officiated by Fr. Joe Bordelon and Fr. Rich Snow assisted by Andre Bordelon. Interment will be in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, Gardner, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mrs. Leggett, age 88, of Alexandria, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Friday, December 2, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Marjorie was a retired social worker from Huey P. Long Hospital. She was a long time member of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church where she had served on the vestry, altar guild, and senior warden. She was a member of the Daughters of the King.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James H. (Trig) Dunn and Joycie Kees Dunn; one brother, Jim Dunn.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert G. Leggett of Alexandria; her children, Joy Lou Hull Williamson of Bossier City, Suzanne Hull Douglas of Alexandria and Randy Hull (Tish) of Pineville; five grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.
Friends may call on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Cortland Thibodeaux, Braden Thibodeaux, Brock Bordelon, Gage Hull, Chris Gremillion and Kevin Bordelon.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of St. Joseph Hospice and Sade Spillers.
