James Edward  Rogers
Mr. James E. Rogers of Deridder, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 in the V.A. Medical Center, Pineville, Louisiana.

He was a veteran of the US Navy and a building contractor. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother.

He is preceded in death by his father, William Daniel Rogers, Sr.; mother, Nathalee Squires Wintersteen; one brother, William Daniel Rogers, Jr.; one sister, Martha Rose Kounce.

He is survived by two daughters, Paula McCall of Bainbridge, New York and Amy Manus (Mike) of Monroe, North Carolina; one brother, David Eugene Rogers of Greenbrier, Arkansas; three sisters, Bessie Mae Huff (Johnny) of Oklahoma, Judith Ann Smith of Leesville and Emily Joyce Rogers of Channelview, Texas; significant other, Bonnie Blansett; grandchildren, Brandt McCall, Morgan McCall, Trenton Skipper and Holly Skipper; many family and friends.
