Funeral services for Mr. Rickey Odell Tam will be held at 2:00 p.m. on
Friday, September 9, 2016 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Reverend Grady Dodge officiating. Interment will be in Slay Cemetery, Deville, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Tam, age 57, of Deville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana.

Rickey was an avid outdoorsman and loved working on his hot rod. He was an active member of Richey Baptist Church. Rickey was always a helping hand to his family and friends. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Rickey is preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Lela Tam; two brothers, Blaine and Darrell Tam; one sister, Lois Alwell.

He is survived by two children, Cory Tam (Ashley) and Lane Tam (Brandi); four grandchildren, Emily, Dylan, Jackson and Anistyn Tam; one brother, Leslie Tam (Margaret); two sisters, Lynda Hollis (Freddie) and Dianne Mills (James); sister-in-law, Deborah Tam; girlfriend, Cindy Gunter; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Friends may visit at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana, on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until service at 2:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be, David Parker, Mike Rainey, Wymon Terrell, Chuck Lucas, Wesley Tam, John George, Johnny Ray McLendon and Bobby Beaubouef; Honorary pallbearers will be Lane Tam, Cory Tam, Jackson Tam and Dylan Tam.
