Ronald Lane “Ronnie” Bazar
Memorial services for Mr. Ronnie Bazar will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2016 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with the Reverend’s Danny George and Robert Pete officiating, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mr. Bazar, age 72, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the VA Medical Center, Pineville, Louisiana.
Ronnie was an avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing and hunting. He was a member of Tioga Baptist Church where he sang in his younger days and later in life he was a member of Alpine Baptist Church. He enjoyed singing with Ronnie Cox and the Capri’s Band. He was the past president of the Cosmopolitan Club and a former member of the AmVets Club.
Mr. Bazar is preceded in death by his mother Freida Burns Bazar Gordy; father, J.W. Bazar; one sister, Kay Avonne Bazar.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Mary Jo Loper Bazar; two sons, Paul L. Bazar of Ball and Mark A. Bazar (Sheena) of Las Vegas, Nevada; two daughters, Monica Weis (Michael) of Ball and Kathy Crisp (Dennis) of Panama City Beach, Florida; sister, Cynthia Sword (Paul) of Concord, Georgia; grandchildren, Andrew and Caiden Bazar, Sandi Addington of Deville, Loren Kennedy (Jeff) of Kansas; great- grandchildren Evyn Matthews, Halo Goudeau, Joseph Goudeau and Conner Kennedy; niece, Ashley Sword; nephew, Anthony Sword; two great nieces and nephews.
