Life Story for Vergil "Buster" Hudson
Funeral services for "Buster" Hudson will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Larto Baptist Church, 107 Highway 3102, Jonesville, Louisiana with Reverend Kenny Smith officiating. Interment will be in Pease Cemetery, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Buster Hudson, age 86, of Jonesville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at his residence in Jonesville, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Hudson was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, retired as an Oil and Gas inspector for the Office of Conservation for the state of Louisiana. He loved spending time with his family, loved playing blue-grass music on his fiddle and will be missed by all that knew him.
Mr. Hudson is preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Marie Hudson and a grandson, Eric Hudson.
He is survived by one son, Sam Hudson of Ferriday, La.; three daughters, Anna Wilson (Larry) of Jonesville, La, Deborah LaPrairie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Lindy Delhoste (Cam) of Point Pleasant, West Virginia.
Seven Grandchildren, Tim, Tess, Toby, Jordan, Lashay, Joseph and Kayla; four Great-Grandchildren, Riley, Brennyn, Cami and Carson.
Friends may call at Larto Baptist Church, 107 Hwy. 3102, Jonesville, La. on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
