Obituary for Eunice Cecilia Hooter (Bryant)
Funeral services for Mrs. Eunice B. Hooter will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Bosco Baptist Church, 334 Blankston Rd., Monroe, Louisiana 71202 with Reverend Marcelle Ronquille officiating. Interment will be in Bosco Baptist Church Cemetery, Monroe, Louisiana under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mrs. Hooter, age 88, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Monday, August 8, 2016 at Grace Home, Alexandria, Louisiana.
Mrs. Hooter was a bookkeeper for Weiner’s Inc. for many years and she retired from Krogers after 15 years of service. She was a longtime resident of Tioga, Louisiana. Eunice enjoyed cooking and feeding everyone, she also loved sewing, flowers and canning vegetables and jelly.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Boatner Leroy Hooter; two grandsons, Edward Ray Plummer and Travis Leroy Holloway.
She is survived by three sons, Marvin L. Hooter of Shelbyville, Texas, Charles E. Hooter (Linda) of Temple, Texas and Howard Leo Hooter (Teresa) of Dickson, Texas; seven daughters, Mary Alice Cooper of Dayton, Texas, Sally Campbell of Tioga, Flo Morris (William) of Forest Hill, Gloria Jean Williams of Forest Hill, Donna Marie Bradbury of Wallisville, Texas, Shirley Louise Harrington (Ricky) of League City, Texas and Anita Louise Hooter (Kenneth Jones) of Dayton, Texas; one brother, Quincy Bryant of Pineville; two sisters, Louise Brewster of Alexandria and Elisa Lewis of Denham Springs; twenty nine grandchildren; forty three great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren.
