Obituary for Benjamin Joseph ""Benny"" Morton (Benny)
Funeral services for Benny Morton will be held at 10:00 a.m. on
Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Pastor Tim Hisaw officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Benny Morton, age 34, of Ball, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 in Mississippi.
Benny was a resident of Ball, Louisiana. He was valedictorian of his class at Hope Baptist School. He proudly served in the United States Army National Guard. He worked as a plumber and a lineman by trade. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish and hunt. Benny was a dedicated, father, son, brother, and friend.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Buck and Bettie Morton; maternal grandparents, Rudy and Pat Melon.
He is survived by his parents, Randal and Denise Morton; one daughter, Khloe’ Morton of Tioga; one step-son, Kayde Bordelon of Deville; two brothers, Randal L. Morton, Jr. and wife Angela of Tioga and Brandon Morton of Dry Prong; one sister, Rebekah L. Morton of Pineville; niece and nephews, Tatum, Brandon Michael and Trey Morton; also survived by many family and extended family.
Friends may visit on Monday, July 25, 2016 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
