Marvin “Sam” Miller, Jr.

Funeral services for Marvin “Sam” Miller, Jr. will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, 2016 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Miller, age 59, of Alexandria, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in Dubuis Hospital Of Alexandria, Alexandria, Louisiana.

Sam enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outdoors. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He never met a stranger and once you met him, you liked him.

He is preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Oceana Miller.

Mr. Miller is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Patty Miller; three children, Laura Miller(David Dalke) of Alexandria, Jessica Miller (Carlos Escalona) of Alexandria and Marvin David Miller of Boyce; two brothers, Leo Miller (Liz) of Tallahassee, Florida and Robert “Bob” Miller of McComb, Mississippi; four grandchildren, Alexander Brooks, Emily Carter, Samantha Dalke and Ava Escalona; host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Family would like to give a “Special Thanks” to the staff at Dubuis Hospital for the care and support of Sam.
