Funeral services for Mrs. JoAnn Barr will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Reverend Larry L. Jinks officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Pineville, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Mrs. Barr, age 76, of Alexandria, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 18, 2016 with her loving family by her side in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Mrs. Barr provided private duty nursing for patients for over 15 years. She also worked as a caretaker at Pinecrest State School for over 10 years. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She will be missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel R. Barr; parents, Columbus and Ida Miles; three brothers, Ray Miles, Carl Cumella and Junior Miles; one sister, Betty Mae Maxwell.

Mrs. Barr is survived by two sons, Rick Barr and his wife Jan of Alexandria and Robert Barr of Alexandria; one daughter, Melissa Barr Verheyden of Alexandria; three sisters, Janie Quimbley, Carolyn Lemley and Nancy Miles all of Crossett, Arkansas; one brother, David Miles of Crossett, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Jerry L. Verheyden, Jr., Christopher Barr, Rogerick Barr and Amber Barr; two great grandchildren, Layne Verheyden and Korbyn Verheyden..

Friends may call at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana on Monday, June 20, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
