Obituary for Travis Gene "Tab" Baum
Funeral services for Mr. Travis G. Baum will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 20, 2016 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with the Reverends Albert Humphries and Gene Decker officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mr. Baum, age 80, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at his residence.
Mr. Baum was born on March 8, 1936 in Pollock, Louisiana and he was a lifelong resident of Pineville, Louisiana. He retired from Distran after 25 years of service. Travis loved fishing and playing his guitar. He was a member of White Dove Pentecostal Church.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Gladys Baum; one daughter, Karen Baum; four brothers, Marvin, Dewey, Charles and Billy Joe Baum.
He is survived by his loving wife, Velva Willingham Baum; one son, Kenny Baum; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
