Funeral services for Mrs. Edith B. Willis will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2016 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Rodney Lewis officiating. Interment will be in Big Creek Cemetery, Pollock, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Mrs. Willis, age 62, of Pollock, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at her residence.

Mrs. Willis owned and operated the Indian Inn Family Restaurant, Pollock, Louisiana for over 11 years. She also owned and operated Shadow’s Landing Marina at Toledo Bend for 15 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents W.C. and Blanche Wright Barton; husband, Frank McKay; one sister, Pat Hayes; one brother, Don Barton.

She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Ted Willis of Pollock; two sons, Joshua McKay (Marcie) of Pollock and Joseph McKay of Pollock; one step-son, Ted Willis, Jr. of Alexandria; one step-daughter, Kim Willis of Dry Prong; grandchildren, Hailey Speer (Cory) of Pollock, Hannah McKay of Pollock, Alayna McKay of Pollock and Shelby McKay of Pollock; five brothers, Carlos Barton of Port Arthur, Texas, Robert Barton (Doris) of Elmer, Wayne Barton (Jean) of Hineston, Tommy Barton (Chris) of Alexandria and Doug Barton (Sharon) of Elmer; six sisters, Jerri Ann Bardwell of Alexandria, Barbara Nalezinek of Alexandria, Dorothy Key (Rick) of Alexandria, Blanchie LaBorde (David) of Alexandria, Virginia White (Jerry) of LasVegas, Nevada and Debra Buteau (Ed) of New Iberia.

Friends may call at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
