James Marty "Wolfman"  Stracener
Funeral services for Mr. James M. Stracener will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at New Hope Baptist Church, Elmer, Louisiana with Pastor Rob McLane and Rev. John Lewing, II officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Elmer, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Stracener, age 49, of Elmer, entered eternal rest on Monday, April 11, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. Stracener worked as a Deputy for the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office for 25 years. He was a resident of Elmer, Louisiana. He was a member of B.A.C.A. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved riding his Harley.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Beryl and Catherine Norman Stracener.

He is survived by his loving wife of 3 years, Donna Bass Stracener; two sons, Devan Wise and Johnathan Curry (Devin); two daughters, Megan Curry and Emily Curry; two brothers, Ronald Stracener (Mary) and Donald Stracener (Tracie); two sisters, Mary Belgard and Sherrie Brand (Paul); three grandchildren, Chloe, Aiden and Deklin; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Donald Stracener, Johnathan Curry, Joshua Belgard, Daniel Belgard, Jason Belgard, Devan Wise, Darrell Bass, John Barrell, Chris Gaspard, John Gunter and Gordon Horton.

Friends may call at New Hope Baptist Church, Elmer, Louisiana on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
