Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia M. Strother will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Tioga Independent Baptist Church, Pineville, Louisiana with Bro. Joe Sharp officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Mrs. Strother, age 69, of Alexandria, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at her residence.

She attended the Pentecostals of Alexandria for numerous years and participated in The Messiah for several years. She loved her Jesus very much and talked to him and studied him daily. She retired from Dominos Pizza after 12 years of service. Her husband of 14 years was the love of her life, they would sit around and gaze into each other’s eyes, just like teenagers. She focused her life around him completely. Her favorite scripture was John 14:6 – Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by Me!

She is preceded in death by her parents, David “Curly” and Maxine McCartney.

She is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Donald Ray Strother of Alexandria; one son, Randy Kerns of Jacksonville, Florida; one daughter, Chris Eding (Dale) of Boyce; one sister, Rosa Bledsoe (Henry) of Dry Prong; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Tioga Independent Baptist Church, Pineville, Louisiana on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
