Funeral services for Mr. John Franklin Rollins will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at The Pentecostals of Alexandria, G. A. Mangun Center, Alexandria, Louisiana with Reverend’s Anthony Mangun, Samuel Russell and Dennis Brown officiating. Interment will be in the Mars Hill Cemetery, near Montgomery, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Rollins, age 74, of Montgomery, Louisiana, was promoted to his eternal home on Saturday, April 2, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.

John was career military with twenty years in the 101st Airborne “Screaming Eagles” with two tours in Vietnam. John was also a dedicated career law enforcement officer for 26 years in Grant Parish where he was awarded a purple heart and inducted into the American Police Hall of Fame.
John was preceded in death by his parents Archie and Dovie Rollins; a son, Johnny Ray Rollins and sister Margie Feazell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Mary Rollins of Montgomery; four daughters, Wendy Ammons (Robert) of Pineville, Misty Chelette of Natchitoches, Sherry Saxon (Sidney) of Augusta, GA and Patty Ayers (Nick) of Nephzibah, Ga.; 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Helen “Sis” Johnson of Anniston, AL and Debra Martin (Mike) of Wellington, AL; one brother, Ed Rollins of Anniston, AL.

Friends may call at The Pentecostals of Alexandria (G. A. Mangun Center) on Monday, April 4, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at The Pentecostals of Alexandria, G. A. Mangum Center Alexandria, Louisiana.
