Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Dale Cox will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at The Church of Christ, Montgomery, Louisiana with Reverend Mitchell Norman officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, in Winn Parish, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Cox, age 78, of Montgomery, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at his residence in Montgomery.

Mr. Cox was a devoted member of Montgomery Church Of Christ, and worked as a heavy equipment operator for over 50 years. He was a lifelong resident of Grant Parish. He enjoyed hunting, fishing but most of all his family was his pride and joy. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Linda Cox; two daughters, Connie Cox and Donna Cox Watkins (Mitchell); two sisters, Opal Louise Cox Brush and Mona Sue Cox Nugent; four grandchildren, Deric Cox, Chasity Lowe, Conie-Rae Cox and Linda Santana Cox; and ten great-grandchildren.

Mr. Cox was preceded in death by his parents, Loy Jessie and Effie Louise Cox and one sister, Evelyn Cox Fredieu.

Friends may call at Church of Christ, Montgomery, Louisiana on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. and on Saturday, April 4, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
