Obituary for Arby Gene Chandler
Funeral services for Mr. Gene Chandler will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 8, 2016 at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Bentley, Louisiana with Rev. Kenneth Murrell officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Bentley, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana,
Mr. Chandler, age 78, of Bentley, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Colfax Reunion Nursing Home, Colfax, Louisiana.
He was carpenter, logger and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be missed by many family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Margie Chandler; five brothers, Charles, Rubin, Russell, Wilburn and Lonnie Bearon Chandler; three sisters, Lena Hatfield, Clara Mitchell and Billie Jo Williamson.
He is survived by Rodney Chandler of Bentley; one daughter, Alayna Coyle of Bentley; one niece, Terry Tullos (Butch) of Oak Grove; one sister, Alene Brevelle of Pineville; seven grandchildren, Kade Chandler, Cody Chandler, Kyla Chandler, Katy Chandler, Anna Coyle, Kaitlin Coyle and Hunter Coyle; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana on Sunday, February 7, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Monday, February 8, 2016 at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Bentley, Louisiana from 10:00 a. m. until time of services.
