Funeral services for Jimmy “Jimbo” Haynes will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with the Reverend Willie Price and Bubba Redfern officiating. Interment will be in Palmer Chapel Cemetery, Pineville, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.

Mr. Haynes, age 64, of Pineville, La. entered eternal rest on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at his residence in Pineville, La.

“Jimbo” was born in Alexandria, Louisiana. He was a tree surgeon by trade and once served as an active member of the La. Army National Guard. He was a loving dad, brother, and uncle. He was loved by all that knew him and will be greatly missed. Jimbo never met a stranger. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Hazel Haynes; His love and best friend Gloria “Peanut” Butler.

He is survived by one daughter; Stacy Roy (Steven) of Poland; two brothers; Carl Lee Haynes of Pineville, Kenny Haynes of Leesville; sister; Kay Haynes of Kolin; a very special niece; Alisha Dodge Nugent; also survived by host of family and friends.

A very special thank you to Compassionate Care Hospice and Ms. Dee-Dee Gremillion. Also a thank you to Ms. Freida and the Gang.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Wilkerson, Kenny Wilson, Danny Nugent Jr., Tooter Simmons, Chad Hagan, and Mike Schnyder. Honorary Pallbearers will be Alisha Nugent and Kenneth Jinks Simmons.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Red River Bank to help pay final expenses. Jimmy Haynes Benefit Acct # 2761260.
