Obituary for Ernest Omar Double
A celebration of Life services for (Senior Master Sergeant, retired) Ernest O. Double will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 29, 2015 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, LA with Keith Gallagher officiating.
S/MSgt. Double, age 87, of Alexandria, La. entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 in The Grace Home, Alexandria, La. Mr. Double served his country as a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving over thirty years. He was a member of the local V.F.W. Post 1736, AM Vets, Post #7 and The American Legion. Mr. Double enjoyed his career in the military and travelled worldwide.
He is preceded in death by his Loving wife, Ruby Fay Double, and his parents, Frank and Mary Double.
He is survived by two sons, Wilson Double and wife Julie and Neal Double all of Pineville, La.; four grandchildren, Charlie and William Smith, Jessica Double and John Double; Three great grandchildren, Navin and Zayne Double and Lillie Smith and a host of friends.
Friends may call at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, LA on Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until time of services.
