Funeral services for Mr. Allen “Tiny” Forest will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Pine Grove Baptist Church, Ruby, Louisiana with the Reverend Ken Gilmore officiating. Interment will be the Church Cemetery in Ruby, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Forest, age 77, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Maurice J. Forest, Alford Forest, Charles Forest, Frederick Forest, Bessie Mae Forest and Faye Grant; his first wife, Beverly Barger.

He was born in Alexandria to Maurice and Louise Vanlangendonk Forest. He graduated from Bolton High School. He entered the U.S. Navy and after enlistment he went to work with the railroad. He later joined the Rapides Parish Fire District II and retired after 31 years as Asst. Chief. Tiny was a wonderful man, excellent role model, and an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed gardening and LSU football. “Pops” will be greatly missed

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Nancy C. Forest; children, Jeff Brumfield (Robin), Randall Allen Forest, Jason Brumfield (Dawn), Mary F. Morgan (Roy), William Brumfield, Jesse Brumfield; grandchildren, Cory Brumfield (Skye), Drake Parker, Desire` Green, Anthony Gilley, Andrew Gilley, Mary Katherine Brumfield and Damion Brumfield; great grandchildren, Brynlee Brumfield and Thomas Green.

Pallbearers will be Truiett Sober, Quincy Campbell, Gary Moreau, Paul Descant, Chris Beaubouef and Jodi Glorioso; honorary pallbearers will be Trevor Ingram, Trent Smith, Luke Conway, Taylor Bates, Jordan Fuqua and Casey Laird.

Friends may call at Pine Grove Baptist Church, Ruby, Louisiana on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
