Obituary for Marie Therese Lamb
Memorial services for Miss Marie T. Lamb will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 15, 2015 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Pastor Gene Decker officiating, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Miss Lamb, age 59, of Ball, entered eternal rest on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana.
Throughout Marie’s life, she was cared for and cherished by her actual family, the wonderful and giving caretakers, housemates and her workshop friends, who made her life not just comfortable and content, but a joy worth living. Her birth family is forever grateful to all of them for the care and love so generously given to her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William R. and Anita Duncan Lamb; one brother, W. Duncan Lamb.
She is survived by one sister, Margaret L. Dutton; five brothers, R. Norman Lamb, Michael R. Lamb, Shannon W. Lamb, Peter E. Lamb and J. Kendall Lamb; twelve nieces and nephews; eighteen great nieces and nephews; numerous friends.
