Obituary for Rodney David "Ron" Meilleur
Memorial services for Mr. Ron Meilleur will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pineville, Louisiana with Reverend Bruce Miller officiating, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mr. Meilleur, age 84, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at his residence.
He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force for over 20 years. He loved his dogs, hunting, fishing, camping and being “Mayor” of the Neighborhood through his watch program.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Adolph and Isabelle Meilleur; one son, Keith Meilleur; one sister, Barbara Ann Nash.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Suellen Duffy Meilleur of Pineville; five sons, Christopher Paul Meilleur (Cindy) of New Orleans, Jeffery Paul Meilleur (Nancy) of Alexandria, Brian Paul Meilleur of Metairie, Daniel Paul Meilleur (Dana) of Huntsville, Alabama, Timothy Paul Meilleur (Gayla) of New Orleans; two daughters, Peggy Jean Crooks (Timothy) of Carmel, La. and Barbara Jean Anders (Donnie) of Pineville; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.
Friends may call at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Pineville, Louisiana from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
