Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Ingram Phillips will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel, Ball, LA with the Reverend’s Johnny Phillips and Kevin Simmons officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, LA under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, LA.

Mrs. Phillips, age 77, of Pollock, entered eternal rest on Friday, September 18, 2015 at Woods Haven Senior Citizen Home in Pollock, Louisiana.

Mrs. Phillips was a member of Bob Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Minnie Ingram, a sister, Maggie Juanita Ingram and a brother, Jesse Lee Ingram.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Julius Phillips of Pollock; two daughters, Julia Ann Morrow (Richard) of Pollock and Wanda Kay Nichols (Bill) of Mims, Florida; one son, Jeffery Lake Phillips (Teena) of Nederland, TX; Eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one brother, James D. Ingram of Florida; two sisters, Mary S. Merritt and Nellie Fay Lindsay both of Alabama.


Friends may call at Gallagher Funeral Home on Monday, September 21, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
