Obituary for James Allen Day
Memorial services for Mr. James A. Day will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2015 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Rev. Carl Beard officiating, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mr. Day, age 72, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at his residence.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Claire Day; parents, Allen and Thelma Day; brother, Lannis Day.
He is survived by two sons, Eric Day (Charlie) of Alexandria and Michael Day of Pineville; one brother, Russell Day (Sabre) of Gardner; one sister, Audrey Higgins (Larry) of Hineston; two grandchildren, Ashley and Krider Day; also survived by his special friend, Marie Mertens.
In lieu of flowers, the family request monetary donations to help offset funeral expenses.
