Rick, age 50, of Alexandria, entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Riverside Hospital, Alexandria, Louisiana, surrounded by his loving family.

He cherished his family and loved being Grandad to his grandchildren. Rick was an avid LSU fan and loved to fish, duck and dove hunt with his family. He always had kind words for others, had a beautiful personality, and was always encouraging and a role model to many. Rick was a member of Kingsville Baptist Church, Ball, Louisiana. He will be sadly missed by many family, friends and coworkers.

Rick was the Manager of the Pipeline Control Center for EnLink Midstream in Pineville. He began his career with EnLink’s pipeline asset Louisiana Intrastate Gas (LIG) in 1990 as a gas controller. Due to his leadership and deep knowledge of the pipeline system, he was promoted to manager, a role in which he displayed daily enthusiasm and excellence. He demonstrated genuine care and compassion for his colleagues, and his dedication was contagious. He was fair, empathetic, and a willing mentor whose personal work ethic was a great example to others. He was also modest, never seeking praise, and a man of strong faith, which he showed proudly. He received the company’s top honor in 2013 when he received the President’s Leadership Award.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Chad Rabalais; one grandson, Preston Cutts.
